Eden initiated a four-day seminar on Basic Firefighting Techniques, Forest Fire Management, and Electrical Safety conducted by the Bureau of Fire Protection and was attended by selected Eden employees.

Eden  Nature Park & Resort believes in training staff in fire safety as a major concern for all types of businesses. Not only is there a liability issue but making sure your staff undergo training that ensures the safe evacuation of a building is a vital responsibility for anyone who runs a workspace. Safety training show people what to do in the event of a fire and educates on how to help reduce the risk of fire.

From June 16 to 19, Eden staff  sat through lectures ranging from fire prevention to fire suppression, had a brief refresher course on Basic Life Support and CPR  and enjoyed extinguishing the fires that their trainers so kindly started.

All in all, it was a wonderful and educational experience - not only did they learn what to do in an emergency, but just as importantly, they also learned how to prevent an emergency from occurring.
